The New York State Department of Transportation says that overnight ramp closures have been scheduled as part of the ongoing pavement construction in Putnam County.
The NYSDOT said that from 10 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. each night in Southeast, beginning on Monday, June 25 and lasting through at least Friday, June 29, there will be several ramp closures, including:
- The I-84 eastbound and westbound ramps to Exit 20S (I-684 South) are expected to be closed Monday, June 25, and Thursday, June 28;
- The I-84 eastbound to Exit 20N (Route 22 North) is expected to be closed on Tuesday, June 26, and Friday, June 29;
- The I-684 northbound ramp to Exit 9W (I-84) is expected to be closed on Tuesday, June 26, and Friday, June 29;
- The I-684 southbound ramps to Exit 9E (I-84 East) and Exit 9W (I-84 West) are expected to be closed on Wednesday, June 27.
During the closures, motorists have been advised to follow the posted detours. There may also be flaggers and officials in the area to help direct traffic during the scope of the project.
